Funk Fingers were created by bassist Tony Levin and his guitar technician, Andy Moore. The sticks strap onto the first and second fingers and are used to achieve percussive sounds. They are length-compensated for the difference in finger length and feature a stretch strap to attach to your fingers.

Funk Fingers were originally offered for sale in 1998 by Papa Bear Records, Tony Levin’s record company. They were then manufactured and sold by Expanding Hands Music, from 2013 to 2023. Dave’s Musical Instruments is currently the only licensed manufacturer of Funk Fingers worldwide.
